Yes. Even so. Oxodegradable bags turn into microplastics, and the production of hydro-biodegradable bears a large environmental footprint. And both species do not decompose at all in the existing conditions. Therefore, do not be fooled by the tricks of marketers: a package labeled “biodegradable” is still the same plastic package with destructive additives that only aggravate the situation, allowing this plastic to migrate freely around the planet (and you wanted the best).
It turns out that the use of such plastic is essentially impractical. It is important to understand one simple thing: any plastic is evil. And it is not necessary to purposefully look for the smallest among these evils, “approved by nature” – such does not exist in our realities. There is a beautiful short film “Plastic bag” with a philosophical connotation, which reveals not plastic thoughts of an ordinary package; or, for example, the art video “Sea Shepherd: Plastic Ocean”.
All this is not done just like that, and I think after such stories you will look at plastic in a new way. Paper packaging is also not an option. Its production, as a rule, requires not weak resources, and at the same time it is almost always disposable. Therefore, all hope is only for reusable rag bags – the only environmentally friendly alternative, better than which nothing has been invented yet. Is it necessary?
